Right to apply
Article 11 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 gives you the right to apply to the data controller regarding your personal data. You can use this route for all of your rights listed in the KVKK Privacy Notice.
How to apply
You can send your application in writing by one of the following means:
- By e-mail — to the e-mail address published in the imprint, writing “KVKK Başvurusu” (KVKK application) in the subject line.
- By post — to the practice address on the Contact page, writing “Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu Kapsamında Bilgi Talebi” (Request for Information under the Personal Data Protection Law) on the envelope.
- In person — by applying at the practice with your identity document.
What the application must include
Under the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles for Applications to the Data Controller, your application must include the following:
- Name, surname and, if the application is in writing, a signature
- If you are a citizen of the Republic of Türkiye, your T.C. identity number; if not, your nationality, passport number or, if available, identity number
- Place of residence or workplace address for service of notices
- If available, e-mail address, telephone and fax number for notifications
- Subject of the request
Relevant information and documents should be attached to the application.
Response time
Depending on the nature of the request, your application is concluded within thirty days at the latest free of charge. If the process requires an additional cost, the fee in the tariff set by the Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurulu (Personal Data Protection Board) may be charged.
If your application is rejected, if you find the response inadequate, or if no response is given in time, you may, within thirty days of the date you learn of the response and in any case within sixty days of the application date, apply to the Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurulu (Personal Data Protection Board) by filing a complaint.
